I remember fall in Arizona. The needles in the cactus changing colors...falling down to the ground...raking them up and jumping into the huge pile of pain.
OK. Not really. But Utah seems to actually have seasons. The leaves in the backyard have fallen.

They make it look so fun in the movies when the leaves fly in the air as soon as you jump into them! when really the leaves are all crushed and flimsy they aren't as crisp and stiff as they make it on the movies. Am I right?
You just have to have the right trees. I have pictures of my kids racking and jumping into piles of leaves of our mulberry tree leaves. So not everything here is cactus. That wasn't such a big pile by the way!!!
There was a funny comic in the paper this past week...an old guy was piling leaves around a large rock...he giggled to himself as he did so.
That's just mean.
I guess it would keep those pesky kids out of your yard, though.
