The sadest song ever

What is the saddest song you have ever heard? Maybe its the words...maybe its the sound and the use of certain instruments. What do you think it is?

My Immortal is pretty sad. It hurts my feelings just listening to it

That IS a sad song...that'd be in my top 10 easy.

I CAN not pick one...

Streets of Heaven by Sherrie Austin. (I can't even listen to this one anymore.) It'd make anyone with a kid weep.

I Lost a Friend (How To Save a Life)--The Fray. For some reason this song REALLY bums be out.

I Miss My Friend, Darryl Worrley.

And, of COURSE, A Song For You--The Carpenters.

I'm sad now.

Waitin' on Joe, by Steve Azar.

Almost Home, by Craig Morgan.

Moments, by Emerson Drive is pretty sad, too.

You can let go now, Crystal Shawanda (makes me think of my daddy and sitting with him his last few minutes.)

Where have you been, Kathy Mattea

Holes in the floor of heaven, by what's his name.

Death of Cedric- Goblet of Fire
Passing the Flame- Eragon
Together- Eragon
Evenstar- Two Towers
Murrons Burial- Braveheart
A Life So Changed- Titanic

Last Kiss- J. Frank Wilson (or Pearl Jam if you'd prefer)

Those songs give me a feeling of sorrow that it takes hours to shake.

Bonnie, I was totally gonna say Last Kiss. I DO prefer Pearl Jam's. The original is way too upbeat and snappy.

Yeah, how can you be upbeat about you girl dying? PJ's is much better. Bonnie, the soundtrack takes were very sad. I had them all on my HD. Gettysburg soundtrack has some good ones also.

I couldn't find that one special one from the Gettysburg soundtrack that truly made me feel sad...
